About the artist

“ I like to paint humans, to show their uniqueness. I never tire of peering into humans, of finding something new in them. I love people”.

N.B. Nikogosyan is a brilliant representative of the Soviet Art school, a student of professor A.M. Matveev and a worthy contemporary of M. Saryan, S.T. Konenkov. S. Lebedeva, A.A. Osmerkin and many others.

In the 90-s he rebuilt his studio (in which monumental works had been created) and organized a gallery on the upper floor of the building.
