The Charity Concert “Mikael Tariverdiev – The Last Romantic”

April 8, 2017 with the participation of the VIVA fund the charity concert “Mikael Tariverdiev – The Last Romantic” will take place in the Niko Gallery.

After the concert will take place an auction of art objects and a presentation of the book of N.B. Nikogosian “Plasticity of life. Notes of different years”.

Students of the Higher School of Economics Conduct Practice in the Niko Art Gallery

In October – December 2016, the first-year students of the Higher School of Economics, studying the Master program “History of Arts and Art Market”, will have practice in the Niko Gallery. They will get first-hand skills in inventory and classification of works of art, in handling them, as well as will have a chance to talk to the artist himself, to Nikolai Nikogosyan.

Concert of the Piano Duet: Lucas Genyushas & Anna Genyushene

On 4 November 2016, the Niko Gallery welcomed two talented pianists, laureates of numerous piano  competitions, among which The International Tchaikovsky Competition and the International Chopin Competition, as well as the International Competition “Nuova Coppa” (Italia), Lucas Genyushas and Anna Genyushene. The concert, sponsored by Moscow representation of YAMAHA house and the agency APRIORI ARTS, was a great success with the public. The pianists performed pieces by Mozart, Debussy, Prokofiev, Desyatnikov and other composers.

Nikolai Nikogosyan Opens Exhibition in Berlin

The Niko Gallery promotes Armenian artists abroad. An exhibition of Nikolai Nikogosyan, as well as such classics of the Soviet art as Armine Kalents, Arutyun Kalents and Mariam Aslamazian opened in Berlin on  November 30, 2016. The exhibition will be on until 6 January 2017.

Armenian Artists’ Show in Moscow

The Tapan Gallery (9 Olympisky Prospekt, Moscow) opened an exhibition of Armenian artists called “Alexandropol- Leninakan – Gyumri”, a kind of ‘passing the baton from one generation to the next’ show. Some paintings by Nikolai Nikogosyan from the permanent gallery of the Niko Gallery were exhibited there, among others. The show was open until 20 November 2016.

Book of Nikolai Nikogosyan’s Stories Is to be published soon

A collection of stories by Nikogosyan written in different years, about 60 stories all in all, is to be published and comes out soon. It is the first edition of this kind. You will be able to buy the book in the Gallery this December.
